Robertsbridge Community College Provider Access Policy
We welcome visiting professionals to our College to broaden our students learning opportunities and enhance their knowledge of future career options. The policy, available for download below, sets out the school’s arrangements for managing the access of providers to pupils at the school for the purpose of giving them information about the provider’s education or training offer. This complies with the school’s legal obligations under Section 42B of the Education Act 1997.
Year 10 College Taster Days
The deadlines for the Bexhill College and East Sussex College Group (Hastings) taster days are fast approaching. If you have not yet done so please sign up by the 10th June for Bexhill and 25th June for Hastings. Both need to be done online.
If you would like to sign up for taster days/tours at any other College/6th form provider please see Mrs Linch.
Year 10 Work Experience Deadline
All students in Yr 10 are expected to go on work experience. All current year 9's should have recieved your letters and ASPIRE usernames and passwords. Please complete all your forms and entered your placement details at the following website. The deadline for this to be done is Friday 5th July.

Labour Market Information
All students and parents should have access to high-quality information about future study options and labour market opportunities.
By the age of 14, all students at RCC will have accessed and used information about career paths and the labour market to inform their own decisions on study options and KS4 study choices.
We encourage parents and carers to access and use the information contained in the LMI tab to the right to support their children in making choices about their futures.

Our Careers Programme is under constant review and development as we are always looking for extra opportunities for our learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of careers, further education and to prepare them as fully as possible for all the opportunities that may arise in the future. As a school we have paid to sign up to this interactive online programme called Fast Tomato! If you are unsure about your future career choices take part in the quiz and you will be matched with a selection of careers that may suit you. This will also give in-depth information about a whole range of career choices with videos and online guidance available.
